JAKARTA Huawei introduced the two newest devices at the Innovative Product Launch which was held on Thursday, October 3. The two devices are Huawei Watch D2 and Huawei MatePad Pro.

Huawei Watch D2 is the latest generation of the Watch D series launched in August 2022. This device is claimed to be the first smartwatch to support blood pressure monitoring for ambulery patients for 24 hours.

Edy Supartono, Training Director of Huawei Device Indonesia, said that this smartwatch had received a Medical Device Regulation (MDR) certification from Europe and a National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) from China.

It is not yet known when this device will enter Indonesia, but Edy said that this watch will be present in the near future. Not many specifications were revealed other than devices compatible with iOS and Android as well as endurance for up to six days.

Meanwhile, the Huawei MatePad Pro is a tablet with HarmonyOS. This device is claimed to have a better design compared to other Huawei-made tablets. With gold and silk, Huawei wants to present a premium design.

In terms of screens, the MatePad Pro is equipped with a 12.2-inch OLED display and supports a brightness level of up to 200 nits. This tablet is claimed to be light because it weighs 508 grams and thicknesses 5.5 millimeters.

When accompanied by the latest Huawei Glide Keyboard which weighs 420 grams, the weight of this device is still less than 420 grams. Just like Huawei Watch D2, Edy said that the launch date of this device was still being prepared.
