JAKARTA - Google is rolling out an update to its NotebookLM, its AI-based research and writing assistant, which makes it more sophisticated than the previous version.
With this update, you can add a public YouTube URL and audio files directly to your notebook, along with PDF, Google Docs, Slides, websites, and more.
In the company's internal initial testing, the new NotebookLM can analyze videos. So, when you upload a YouTube video or URL, AI will immediately summarize the main points of the video.
However, you will still be able to explore more deeply through quotes from a line that are linked directly to the video transcript.
In addition, you can also connect or find relationships between various parts of a voice recording. Thus, then you can ask NotebookLM to browse the transcribed conversations to find certain information.
Finally, you can also change classroom recordings, handwritten records, and college slides into comprehensive learning guidelines with just one click.
