Google Calendar Launches Birthday Review Option

JAKARTA Google Calendar is integrated directly with Google accounts so that this application can save important agendas automatically. This application can also save events or assignments manually.

However, unlike other dating apps, Google Calendar does not have the option to save birthdays. This application can only remember friends' or family's birthday by withdrawing information stored in Google Contact.

In the near future, the difficulty of saving birthday events will be addressed by Google. The company will add a new option to store and modify the birthday date on Google Calendar.

The option of saving birthdays is only available on the Google Calendar app for Android devices. This feature has been launched since September 19 and will end in 15 days, until September 24th.

To save and remember birthdays, users only need to open Google Calendar, click the Add button, then select the Birthday option. Next, enter the name of the person who has a birthday at the top and select the date.

Although it has just been launched for Google Calendar on Android devices, the company will expand this new feature to websites and iOS. It is not known when the expansion will be made as Google simply says, "is available in the future."

A birthday reminder option will be launched for regular Google Workspace and Google Workspace Individual customers. Calendar users with personal Google accounts will also receive this feature in the near future.
