New Feature! Instagram Comments Will Be Distributed Directly To Threads

JAKARTA - Meta is reportedly developing a new feature that allows users to share comments on other Instagram posts to Threads.

The development of this new feature was discovered by mobile app developer Alessandro Paluzzi in a post on Threads.

In the uploaded screenshot, when commenting on Instagram uploads, there will be a new drop-down menu that will allow users to choose to share comments only to Instagram or also share on Threads

"Instagram is working on the ability to share comments to posts as well on Threads," Paluzzi wrote in a post on Sunday, September 15.

Apparently, this feature will be similar to Instagram's integration into Facebook, which allows users to share Instagram content directly into linked Facebook accounts at once.

Previously, Meta had also taken several steps to integrate Threads with other platforms, such as displaying Threads posts on Instagram or Facebook.

This short-posting social network like Twitter also doesn't have its own DM, but users can still receive or send messages via the Instagram app.

Recently, Threads, the Meta-made social media platform, was also reportedly testing the temporary post feature, against a small number of users.
