Krom Bank Utilizes AWS Cloud To Accelerate Digital Banking Innovation In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Amazon Web Services (AWS), announced that PT Krom Bank Indonesia Tbk (Krom Bank), part of the Kredivo Group, was built on AWS services since the launch of the Krom digital banking service.

Krom Bank builds its database using Amazon Aurora, a very sophisticated and reliable database service that ensures their app remains smoothly accessible even though the number of users is growing.

Krom Bank's vision is to serve people who have not been touched by this banking service with services that are tailored to the needs of each individual through their applications.

By building their services on the AWS platform, Krom Bank is more agile in conducting experiments and changes, so they can quickly create innovative new services for Indonesians who do not have access to banking.

Selain itu, Krom Bank juga menggunakan Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS), sebuah layanan untuk mengatur aplikasi, untuk menambahkan fitur-fitur baru di aplikasi mobile mereka seperti kemampuan verifikasi identik elektronik (e-KYC).

This technology allows customers to open bank accounts 10-20 times faster through apps than they should come directly to bank branch offices.

Then, there is also Amazon Recognition, a service that can analyze images and videos, which allows customers to submit documents through the app to open an account in less than 3 minutes from anywhere, provided there is a cell phone signal.

Krom Bank uses Amazon Sage Maker, to help improve customer experience by analyzing their behavior while using the Krom Bank app.
