JAKARTA - In Google.org's inaugural Impact Summit, which took place in Sunnyvale, California, Google announced three new ways to help nonprofits take advantage of AI's potential to make changes in their communities.

AI Opportunity Fund

In April, Google's AI Opportunity Fund.org donated 10 million US dollars (Rp155 billion) to nonprofits across the US studying AI. Now, Google.org is again disbursing US$7 million (Rp109 billion) to support non-profits across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

Google.org Accelerator: Generative AI

Google.org Impact Summit marks the graduation ceremony of the first 21 Google.org Accelerator organizations: Generative AI 21 which received funding, cloud credit, technical training, and pro-bono support for six months.

To continue this momentum, Google is again presenting a second round for Google.org Accelerator: Generative AI will open in the fall. Visit the Google.org website to get a notification when registration opens.

New AI feature for Ad Grants

Google for Nonprofits integrates two new AI features into the Ad Ad Grants program: Performance Max, and the experience of conversations in the search campaign.

The Ad Grants program provides 10,000 US dollars (Rp155 million) per month in the form of free-cost search ads for nonprofits in more than 65 countries.

A nonprofit that meets the requirements in this program will soon be able to take advantage of AI technology without keywords from Performance Max to find relevant search queries and use a generating AI tool to quickly and easily create ad text that suits the user's intentions.

Performance Max has begun rolling out to eligible Ads Grants accounts, and will continue to be available to eligible accounts over the coming months.

In addition, organizations joining the Ad Grants program can also take advantage of the experience of direct conversations with Google AI to create a better search campaign. This service is available globally if advertisers set their language to English.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
