JAKARTA - The blockchain-based gaming world is again shocked by the interesting collaboration between Catizen and HashKey Group. In an effort to expand reach and provide incentives to players, these two parties launched the 'Meowdrop' campaign which will start on August 29, 2024. This campaign will distribute more than 2 million HSK tokens to Catizen players through the game's Telegram bot.

The announcement comes after HashKey Group, a Hong Kong-based crypto exchange, announced its cooperation with Catizen AI. The 'Meowdrop' campaign not only involves the distribution of HSK tokens but also opportunities for players to get more than 100 million Fish Coins, a crypto asset in a very valuable game.

The amount of HSK tokens received by players in this campaign will be determined based on the level of purchases in games that have been done before. Snapshots to determine the number of these tokens were taken on August 25 at 16:00 UTC. Qualified players can claim their HSK tokens starting August 29 via the Catizen bot on Telegram.

Catizens see this campaign as a significant form of support and recognition from HashKey Group for their protocols and communities. Previously, HashKey Capital had announced its strategic investment in Pluto Studio, a GameFi publishing platform known for its flagship project, Catizen.AI.

According to Coinspeaker information, Catizens, which have a Purchase In-App (IAP) and In-App Billing (IAB) system, have received a lot of praise and attention since its launch five months ago. In mid-July, the game recorded revenues of 16 million US Dollars (Rp248 billion) from in-app purchases, and recently the number of players has reached 29 million. The average generated revenue per user also continued to increase, reaching 30.7 US Dollars (Rp475,850) on 24 July.

Pavel Durov, CEO of Telegram, praised Catizen for successfully introducing millions of people to blockchain technology through toN-based smart contracts used for in-game prizes. In addition, the Catizen development team has also built tools to make it easier for other developers to launch their games on Telegram and the TON network.

Apart from HashKey Group, Binance Labs also provides significant support to Catizens. With the support of funds from Binance and other investors, Pluto Studio plans to accelerate market growth by supporting the Catizen mini app and developing game machines.
