JAKARTA AI Overview, a summary feature based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Google Search, received an update on August 15. One of the features Google launched is an icon to check the link.

Since it was first launched, AI Overview has been designed to make it easier for users to access relevant information from various sources. Web sites displayed on AI Overview tend to be accessed by users so that their traffic can be higher.

This website link is limited so Google added a new feature to add more relevant websites. When AI Overview is displayed on Google Search, users will see a new site icon at the top right, both on desktop and mobile.

In addition to adding site icons, Google is also testing links to relevant websites in the AI Overview text section, to be precise on the side of the text. All these updates will be rolled out in stages across countries that can access AI Overview.

"This update began rolling out globally today for AI Overview in all launched countries, as well as for Search Labs users in more than 120 countries and regions," Google said in an official statement.

Another feature that Google will launch is the ability to save AI Overview for a review in the future. Later, Google will add a Save button in the AI Overview section, to be precise next to the Search Labs icon.

When users do the same search, AI Overview will display the summary results that have been saved. If users want to see what summarys they save, they can open the profile icon and then open your Interest page.

The Save button is still being tested so Google has not expanded its features. "This capability is available for English queries in the US, make sure you have registered in the AI Sumatra experiment and others at Search Labs," Google explained.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
