JAKARTA WhatsApp, Meta's instant messaging platform, announced that it will add the latest animated stickers. This sticker comes from GIPHY, the popular GIF platform previously covered by Meta.
Starting last August 14, WhatsApp partnered with GIPHY so users can find or share more stickers. This GIF platform is integrated directly into WhatsApp so users don't have to switch apps to access the desired stickers.
"GIPHY presents their complete collection of stickers directly to WhatsApp. This integration allows you to find and share relevant and interesting stickers, without having to leave the app," WhatsApp said on its official website.
To access GIPHY-made animation stickers, users only need to tap the sticker icon in the chat room and search for the sticker they want. How to find the sticker to remain the same, users can search with text or emoji in the search bar.
By adding a new sticker from GIPHY, WhatsApp believes that its users can communicate more about their emotions and mood. In addition to expressing yourself, the new sticker from GIPHY can add excitement to the chat room.
