Google Officially Launches Gemini Live Capability

JAKARTA Gemini, the Big Language Model (LLM) created by Google, has finally gained new capabilities. At the Made by Google event which was held on Tuesday, August 13, Google officially launched Gemini Live. Gemini Live is the ability of mobile conversations to be presented to have free conversations. With this new capability, Gemini can be invited to exchange ideas about work, interest, or any topic users want. "You can even interrupt in the middle of a response to talk more about certain points, or bridge conversations and come back later. It's like having close friends in your pocket that you can chat about new ideas," explains Google. In addition to responding to conversations with more natural styles, Gemini Live can also be used without touching the phone. Before this new capability appears, Gemini's application screen must always be open. Now, mobile phones can be used in a locked state.

Gemini Live will be operational as long as the app runs in the background. For now, Gemini Live is only available in English for Gemini Advanced subscribers. This new capability is also only available on Android devices. In the coming weeks, Gemini Live will be launched for Gemini Advanced subscribers on iOS. In the future, Google will add more languages and voice options to Gemini Live. "In order to talk to Gemini feels more naturally, we introduce ten new votes to choose from, so you can choose the best-fit pitch and style for you," Google said.
