JAKARTA - Indonesia Technology and Innovation (INTI) 2024 officially opened at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta. This event is the largest annual event in Indonesia that carries the B2B Expo and Conference format, which will take place from 12 to 14 August 2024. The event was officially opened by the Deputy Minister of Communication and Information, Nezar Patria, on the main stage of INTI 2024.

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Communication and Information, Nezar Patria, gave his appreciation to the Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers (APJII) for inspiring and facilitating this important forum. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between all stakeholders in the digital ecosystem to make the national digital transformation a success.

"Collaboration is the key to facing challenges and taking advantage of the opportunities that exist in digital transformation. We must unite to create an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem," said Nezar Patria.

The General Chairperson of APJII, in his remarks, stated that APJII as an organization that oversees more than 1,100 internet-based telecommunications providers plays a strategic role in supporting digital transformation in all sectors.

"We are committed to continuing to encourage innovation, improve digital capabilities, and strengthen collaboration with various parties. However, this commitment requires full support from regulations that enable innovation and adaptation of technology without being burdened by outdated or irrelevant regulations," said the General Chairperson of APJII.

On the second stage (Tech Stage), the event began with the soft launching of the Indonesian Industrial Robots Association (ASRII) which then continued with a conference discussing the topic "Development Smart Machine & Robotics Ecostems to Accelerate Industry Revolution 4.0".

This conference presents various prominent speakers, including the Director of the Machinery and Agricultural Equipment Industry, Yan Sibarang Tandiele; Chairman of the Indonesian Industrial Robot Association (ASRII), Malik Khidir; and Prof. Dr. Ir. Jazi Eko Istiyanto, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng, Head of the Laboratory of Embedded Systems and Robotics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Gadjah Mada University. Also present is the Director of GMI (PT. Global Mega Indonesia), Sugiarto Santoso, who shared insights into the latest technological innovations.

The second session at Tech Stage featured a business forum with the topic "Development of the National Semiconductor Industry Ecosystem" which presented Yuliot Tanjung, Deputy Minister of Investment and BKPM, as the keynote speaker. In his speech, Yuliot Tanjung emphasized the importance of developing a national semiconductor industrial ecosystem to support Indonesia's digital economy growth.

Based on registration data received by the committee, the number of visitors on the first day reached 6,492 people. The large number of visitors can be seen from the crowds that occurred in several booths and pavilions, such as the APTIKNAS Pavilion and the CORIKA Pavilion which held talk shows, attracted the attention of many participants.

The APTIKNAS Pavilion, which features the latest technological innovations from association member companies, is one of the main attractions for visitors. Visitors can see firsthand the products and technological solutions offered, as well as discuss with experts in their fields.

Meanwhile, the CORIKA Pavilion, which held talk shows, attracted attention with interesting topics such as the development of AI technology, the internet of things (IoT), and cybersecurity solutions. This discussion presents speakers from various industrial backgrounds, who share their knowledge and experience with visitors.

INTI 2024 not only presents the latest technology and innovation exhibitions, but is also an arena for collaboration and collaboration between various stakeholders in the digital ecosystem.
