JAKARTA - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo), introduced GoTo AI as a long-term program for the development and utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in the GoTo ecosystem.
Marking the initial stage of AI implementation, GoTo introduced Dira by GoTo AI, a voice assistant in AI-based Indonesian that can be used in the GoPay application by some users. Before later it will be extended to all users in the Gojek application.
"Dira is an Indonesian voice assistant who not only provides benefits for users, but also becomes the basis for the development of further AI GoTo innovations in the future," said Hans Patuwo, GoTo Chief Operating Officer.
Dira's presence will shorten the duration required to complete one transaction. For example, users only need to tap once and give voice commands for the various transactions needed to save time.
Dira will also help users navigate GoPay's interface features more easily, minimize manual search on the main page of the app and make it easier for users to find new features in the GoPay app.

To access Dira in the GoPay application, users simply access the microphone icon located in the upper right corner of the main page of the GoPay application to be able to directly give voice commands.
Furthermore, users will be directed to the related transaction page. Transactions that can be accessed by Dira include paying electricity bills, transferring to banks or fellow GoPay, buying credit, replacing PIN, and many others.
Dira is one of the main innovations of GoTo AI and will continue to be developed along with the increase in artificial intelligence capabilities in all GoTo ecosystem services.
