JAKARTA - The CDK software maker on Friday, June 28, said it had recovered two small groups and one large group of car retailers who were publicly registered to its dealer management system following disruptions caused by cyberattacks.
The CDK, which did not name the vehicle dealer, added that it continues to take a gradual approach in its software recovery process. The company also said it was "actively working" to enable more apps, including customer relationship management, service solutions, and customer service channels.

On Wednesday, June 26, the CDK brought a "small initial trial group" from the dealer back to its dealer management system and said it would begin to gradually restore other dealers.
This disruption forced several car dealers in the US to return to using manual documents, with more than 15,000 retail locations in the country relying on the technology and software provider.
"We understand and share the urgency of our customers to resume operations as usual, and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available," the CDK said on Friday.
