JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) said that some immigration services began to resume operations following recovery steps carried out after disturbances at the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS) 2.
"Rescuation measures continue to be carried out with the following developments. First, some immigration services such as passports, visas, residence permits, and crossings have started to resume operations," said Director General of Informatics Applications of the Ministry of Communications and Informatics Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan quoting Antara.
Semuel said that immigration services through Autogate at Soekarno Hatta Airport had also returned to operation in stages, although Autogate services at other airports were still in the process of being restored.
"So that the immigration process can continue, the combination service with manual verification is still being carried out," he said.
The Ministry of Communication and Informatics has apologized for the disturbances experienced by PDNS 2 since June 20, 2024, which has resulted in hampered public services.
