JAKARTA After launching the June security patch for the Galaxy S23 and S22 series, Samsung is now launching a security patch for the Galaxy S21 series. The launch of this firmware is in stages.

Found for the first time by SamMobile, this security firmware has only been launched in several countries. All users of the Galaxy S21 series in the US have received a security patch in June with a different version of the firmware.

The Galaxy S21 unit that is locked by the operator gets the G99xUSQSBGXF1 version of the firmware, while the unlocked unit gets the firmware with the G99xU1UESBGF1 version. Samsung also launched different versions in Asia and Europe.

Several countries on the two continents have received G99xBXXSBGXEC versions of the firmware, but it is not yet known which countries have received the update. To find out if your device has received an update, you can check it.
