Accenture: Generative AI Can Improve Productivity In 900 Different Types Of Work

JAKARTA - The latest Accenture report says that people around the world are experiencing a massive technological shift due to artificial intelligence (AI) and other disruptive technologies to "Human by Design" which is increasingly human-like.

According to the Technology Vision 2024 report: Human by Design: How AI Unleashes the Next Level of Human Potential, this will certainly improve the human resource capacity significantly to increase the potential of workers and change how the business is run.

In addition, Accenture also mentioned that generative AI has the potential to affect 44 percent of all working hours across industries across the United States, enabling increased productivity in 900 different types of jobs, and creating at least $8 trillion in global economic value.

"However, realizing this benefit requires a balanced 'human by design' approach to ensure the fair and responsible use of this technology," said Jayant Bhargava, Country Managing Director of Accenture Indonesia on Thursday, May 30 in Jakarta.

Therefore, Accenture is strongly encouraged for the advancement of Indonesia's National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence, which demonstrates a strong commitment to utilizing this technology for transformative growth.

Jayant explained that increasing the use of AI responsibly has its own challenges, especially for companies that do not have a strong digital foundation.

"They must consider technical infrastructure, operational models, and governance to meet high demand for computing while managing costs and energy use," added Jayant.
