JAKARTA - Oppo recently launched the Find X3 series in Europe, namely Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Neo, and Find X3 Lite. The cellphone manufacturer also launched the vanilla Find X3 and Find X3 Pro in China.

The Vanilla Oppo Find X3 is the best competitor for the flagship Xiaomi Mi 11. Both are affordable for consumers. Which one is superior? Is it Oppo Find X3 or Xiaomi Mi 11?

Design

The design of the Oppo Find X3 cellphone is quite impressive with its curves, especially the design of the camera house. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi 11 appears with a more waterproof body with IP68 certification. Mi 11 can be water and dust-resistant. Oppo doesn't offer this capability as its competitors.

Screen

In terms of screen, Find X3 is superior to Mi 11. This is because the cellphone made by Oppo is equipped with a screen with LTPO technology which allows lower energy consumption. The screen also has HDR10 + certification and has a Quad HD + resolution. The 6.7-inch widescreen panel is equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the screen.

While the Xiaomi Mi 11 comes with wider screen size, 6.81 inches but has lower image quality. Even so, the Mi 11 screen is sturdier because it is equipped with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protector.

Chipset

If you want a speedy phone, then the Xiaomi Mi 11 is the choice. This device is equipped with Snapdragon 888, the best chipset made by Qualcomm today. Meanwhile, the Find X3 is powered by Snapdragon 870 which is a chipset that has been upgraded from the previous generation, namely Snapdragon 865+. This chipset is combined with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The Mi 11 comes with the Android 11 operating system which is adapted to MIUI 12, while the Find X3 comes with the ColorOS 11.2 operating system.

Camera

In terms of camera, the Oppo Find X3 phone comes with a better camera than the Xiaomi Mi 11. Find X3 is equipped with two main cameras Sony IMX766 which has a resolution of 50 MP, one of which is an ultrawide sensor with omnidirectional autofocus. There is also a 13 MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and a 3 MP macro camera that can offer up to 60x zoom.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 does not come with a telephoto camera but is equipped with a 108 MP main camera with 8K and OIS video recording, a 13 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5 MP macro camera.

Battery

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is equipped with a 4600 mAh battery, slightly larger than the Find X3 which is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery. The Find X3 mobile phone comes with a faster charging feature of 65 Watts. While the Mi 11 is only equipped with 50 Watts for fast-charging.

Price

The Mi 11 cellphone in China sells for USD 720 (around IDR 10 million), while the Find X3 is priced at USD 771 (around IDR 11 million). The difference is not too far from its competitors.
