JAKARTA - As one of the efforts to form reliable digital talents in the country, Telkomsel has again organized the Indonesian NEXT Season 8 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program titled #upskilltoinnovate.

Telkomsel said that this program aims to accelerate the improvement of the skills of young Indonesian technopreneurs and form reliable digital talents.

This program is also a solution, related to the need for 9 million Indonesian digital talents by 2030, in accordance with the projections of the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia.

Therefore, Telkomsel is committed to encouraging students' interest in studying computer science and other technological skills through the IndonesiaNEXT Season 8 program.

In organizing the 8th year, IndonesiaNEXT presented various updates, including more specific technology-based certification and modules, intensive Bootcamp, and collaboration with program alumni to share inspiration with participants.

"By reaching more than 79 thousand participants from 695 universities since 2016, Telkomsel hopes that IndonesiaNEXT as a digital talent accelerator can make a significant contribution to Indonesia's progress and support the fulfillment of the need for reliable and highly competitive digital talents in the future," said Saki H. IndonesiaNEXT Season 8 consists of four stages: Certification, Ideation Bootcamp, MVP Bootcamp, and Awarding. Up to 1,000 selected participants will receive basic training and International Certification in collaboration with the Key platform.

The next stages involve developing technical skills such as Data Analytics, UI/UX, Digital Marketing, Communications, to Machine Learning which are part of the foundation for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.

Registration for the IndonesiaNEXT Season 8 is still open until May 31, 2024. This program will divide participants into 3 categories: Hustler, Hipster, and Hacker, which focuses on different interests and development of capabilities.
