JAKARTA Samsung has released the One UI 6.1 firmware to its flagship device since last January and its firmware distribution ended in March. Now, Samsung will focus on their mid-range phones. Citing from SamMobile, platform X users with the theonecid account said that One UI 6.1 will be launched to three mid-range or intermediate class phones. The three phones are the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A53. Reportedly, this firmware will be released on May 14 in Canada. Looking at the Samsung's habit, One UI 6.1 will be released in Canada after its international availability. South Korea or Europe may get its firmware first. This launch schedule cannot be fully trusted because Samsung has not announced its release date officially. There is a possibility that the launch of its firmware is delayed or its launch country where it is expected. Meanwhile, Samsung briefly said that the Galaxy AI will be included in the One UI 6.1 update. Selected devices will get advanced features based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Unfortunately, medium class devices may be excluded.

Various advanced features such as Live Translate, Browsing Assist, to Note Assist do not seem to be added to Samsung's middle class phones. The reason is, not all processors on the device can run the Galaxy AI smoothly. If the latest devices such as Galaxy A55 and A35 do not get the Galaxy AI in the One UI 6.1 update, the older A series will not get the feature. Unlike the Galaxy S21 FE which may get the Circle to Search feature.
