Meta AI Update With Llama 3 Now Integrated With Instagram, Facebook, And Messenger

JAKARTA - Meta is rolling out an update for Meta AI, Meta's leading AI assistant, using the claimed Llama 3 model to be more sophisticated and smarter than the previous generation.

We're releasing a new version of Meta Al, our assistant that you can ask any questions through our apps and glasses. Our goal is to build Al," Meta Boss Mark Zuckerberg wrote on his official WhatsApp channel.

In addition, Meta Al has now also been integrated into the search box at the top of WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger. Not to forget, the tech giant is also building websites, meta.ai, for use on the web.

With this integration, you can now access real-time information from Meta AI from across the web without having to move between apps.

From the demonstrations shared, if you want to ask Meta AI something in the Instagram group, you just need to type @ then Meta AI will appear at the top. After that, enter your question, and Meta will answer directly in the chat group.

Apart from in conversation groups, you can also access Meta AI when browsing Facebook Feeds. Meta AI will appear just below the post, and you can ask Meta AI for more info on the post.

Lastly, Meta has also created several unique creation features, such as photo-minimizing capabilities. Currently, this new feature has just rolled out in beta on WhatsApp and the Meta AI web in the US.

You'll see images appear when you start typing, and that image will change every few letters typed, so you can watch Meta AI realize your vision, added Zuck.
