Fingerprint Sensors On The Samsung Galaxy S23 Troubled Due To One UI 6.1 Update

JAKARTA A number of SamsungGalaxy devices have received the One UI 6.1 update, one of which is the Galaxy S23. The update of this system not only brings updates, but also brings problems. Citing from 9to5google, some Galaxy S23 users, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra said that the fingerprint sensor on their device didn't want to work. This problem started after they installed the One UI 6.1 update. This damage didn't last long because the fingerprint sensor was eventually back working. However, when the sensor was already working, the fingerprint sensor icon continued to disappear from the screen so users had to tap on the screen several times. This is an unusual and very disturbing problem for some users. Although it seems that this malfunctioning sensor occurs due to a bug or flaw that appears in the One UI 6.1 update.

To date, Samsung hasn't rolled out a fix to the problem on this sensor system. Most likely, this problem will be resolved after Samsung launched its next One UI 6.1 update, which is a security patch for April. This non-performing fingerprint sensor isn't the only problem that has occurred due to the One UI 6.1 update. Several Galaxy S23 users, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, and other Galaxy devices have complained about the problem at the time of charging. Through the Reddit platform, users say that their phone charging is getting very slow. In addition, their phone is also getting hotter. Although it doesn't get overheat, this problem remains annoying and must be addressed immediately.
