JAKARTA - Epic Games, a video game developer, announced that Epic Games Store will be launched on Android and iOS devices. This news was shared by Epic's official account on platform X.
Based on the concept Epic shared, the design of this gaming-specific app is almost similar to the Google Play Store, such as the search box at the top and various tabs that make game search easier.
The main page also displays advertisements in the form of the latest updates from various games and game recommendations based on staff options. All games seen on the main screen have a free label or can be downloaded for free.
When sharing news about a digital store for its games, Epic said that, "The same fair terms, available to all developers, in a true multi-platform store with incredible games for everyone."
This fair requirement claim refers to the revenue-sharing system. The company further explained that mobile developers will benefit from the same benefits as the Epic Games Store developer for the Personal Computer (PC).

Developers can maintain 88 percent of the revenue from the games they created because Epic will only cut 12 percent. This number is much smaller than the cut implemented by the Play Store in 2021, which is 15 percent.
