JAKARTA Google continues to integrate the generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) model into its various products and services. This time, its AI-generative has been added to the latest features on the Google Play Store.

Some time ago, Google's System Release Note on the Google help page explained that the Play Store will launch a summary of the app generated by AI. This feature was finally launched by Google.

When users are looking for an application on the Play Store, an AI-based summary will appear with the App Highlights description. Users can read the information shown first before deciding to download the application.

The application of AI in this summary feature is very useful if Android phone users are looking for the desired application. They don't need to directly download the application just to see the features offered by the application.

In addition to adding the AI summary feature in the application display, Google also added the feature to the FAQ Play Store section. This feature not only displays information from the application on FAQ, but also an overview of the reasons this feature can be popular.

This AI-based application highlight feature update was launched on Monday, March 18 in version 40.2. This feature is still rolling out in stages so not all users will see the AI summary feature.

In addition to a summary in the form of a highlight, version 40.2 will also launch a Play Store update permit automatically using limited mobile data. Google also added the Persisten Navigation Bar to facilitate page navigation on the Play Store.
