Garmin Launches Smartwatch Forerunner 165 And Monitors HRM-Fit Heart Rate For Women

JAKARTA - Garmin, the innovative multisport GPS smartwatch leader, announced the launch of HRM-Fit and Forerunner 165 which supports the inclusiveness of its users' active lifestyle ecosystem in Indonesia.

"Garmin introduced the latest innovation by releasing the 165 Forerunner and HRM-Fit in enriching the running ecosystem and supporting the user's active lifestyle," said Sky Chen, Regional Director of Garmin Southeast Asia.

The 165 Forerunner itself is a new product that is included in Garmin's running smartwatch with an AMOLED screen and improved fitness features.

This GPS-enhanced running smartwatch will help users achieve their goals with personalized adaptive training plans as well as health and fitness metrics.

This smartwatch was also launched with various interesting features such as a metric for advanced training, Recovery Insights, smart notifications, and many more. Importantly, this model has up to 11 days battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 19 hours in GPS mode.

While HRM-Fit is the first heart rate monitor in its type, specifically designed for women in the form of on clips that are inserted directly into sports bras to accurately capture important training metrics.

The device, which weighs only 53 grams, can do a lot of work including capturing heart rate and sending it to smartwatches, seeing running speeds, and much more.

The HRM-Fit monitor has a battery life of up to 1 year and can easily be replaced with a new CR2032 battery.

The two new Garmin devices are priced at IDR 2,599,000 to IDR 5,199,000. These two devices offer impressive tools to help users cross the finish line confidently," Chen concluded.
