Fortnite Game Update Delayed Due To Recovery Problem

JAKARTA The launch of Chapter 5 of the Second Season of Fortnite had problems on Saturday, March 9 in the morning. This launch was delayed because the maintenance time did not end on schedule.

Epic, citing from The Verge, usually shuts down servers at 16.00 WIB to prepare for game updates. However, once maintenance is done, Fortnite doesn't come back online and takes longer.

The Fortnite Status account on platform X, formerly known as Twitter, informs users that they are trying to recover the app quickly. They promised improvement within five hours.

"We are continuing efforts to bring Fortnite back online. Players will be able to pre-download the latest version of v29.00 in about 5 hours. We are grateful for your patience," said Fortnite this morning.

If users want to play games, they may want to switch to Helldivers 2. Unfortunately, this game has also had server problems over the past few hours. This problem is recorded on the DownDetector website.

Chapter 5 of Fortnite, which will be launched in a few hours, will carry the theme Myth and Humans which refers to Greek mythology. That is, users will play as gods and fight past Mount Olympus.

In addition to getting a new theme, users will also get a new location. Epic will add a mythological location to the map, one of which is the lower world guarded by Cerberus, a three-headed guard dog.
