Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Will Release On PS5 And Xbox Series X/S May 24

JAKARTA - Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps have announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be present at PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 24.

Furthermore, Bandai Namco also said that players who already have PS4 or Xbox One versions will be able to upgrade to the current generation version, while keeping all game data.

DRAGON BALL Xenoverse 2 for PS5 and Xbox Series X! S released on May 24, 2024. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S can improve or use smart delivery and transfer of deposit data from PS4 and Xbox One," the announcement reads.

However, transferring deposit data from the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to current generation consoles may be more difficult. However, publishers will explain in the future.

"Detailed increases and saves data transfer instructions will be announced on the following date," the announcement concluded.

Meanwhile, Dragon Ball FighterZ also recently received an update with its latest release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as adding a netcode rollback to the fight game.

Both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 both achieved extraordinary success, with Bandai Namco revealing last year that the two titles had sold more than 10 million copies each.
