JAKARTA Meta continues to develop Threads and add new features. After launching the Trending feature some time ago, Meta will now release a feature to quickly access the camera.
Currently, media access on Threads is still limited. If users want to add photos from the surrounding circumstances, they must exit the app and search for a camera app. Unlike platform X which can directly take pictures from within the app.
Therefore, Threads will add a new button to access the camera without the need to exit the app. This button will be placed in the Uploaders feature, right in the gallery button line, GIF, message, audio, tag, and polaring.
"(This Tombol can) open your phone's camera directly on the Threads maker, making it easier to share photos on Threads," Meta said, quoted from 9to5google.

In addition to launching the camera access feature quickly, Meta will also add a draft store feature. Just like the draft store on platform X, formerly known as Twitter, this feature will save text to upload at other times.
All text drafts in the draft store will not be deleted until the user does not delete them. This feature will work automatically when the user leaves the app with text that is still in the Threads maker.
The camera access and draft storage feature will be rolling out in stages for Threads users around the world. The company hasn't released a launch date yet, but they say the feature will be available in the near future.
