Samsung Will Launch Chromebook With Google Assistant Button

JAKARTA Samsung is one of the electronics companies producing ChromeOS-based devices. Recently, Samsung is known to be developing a new version of Chromebook.

Although never disclosed, the Chromebook being developed by Samsung appears on the company's development list. Based on the findings of Chromebooks, these Chromebooks are coded Xol.

There's something interesting about making Samsung's Chromebook this time. Different from other Chromebook series, this latest device will get a keyboard special Assistant button. When clicked, the button will lead to Google Assistant.

The addition of the Assistant in button is very interesting because not many Chromebooks have live buttons to virtual assistants. So far, there are only three devices that have Assistant support, namely Pixelbook, Pixelbook Go, and Pixel Slate.

The three of them are products made by Google so it's no wonder the company added the Assistant button. That way, Samsung will be the first company to release a Chromebook device with the Assistant button.

In addition to adding Assistant support, Samsung will use the Intel Raptor Lake processor. This means that the computer will use the 13th or 14th generation Intel Core processor, this is not certain.

Samsung last launched the Galaxy Chromebook Go in 2021. By including the Assistant button, Samsung will probably bring a lot of changes to the Chromebook devices they are developing.
