Apple Store Officially Opened In Hongdae, South Korea

JAKARTA Apple opened its seventh retail store in South Korea on Saturday, January 20. The shop is open in Hongdae, an area full of visitors and close to the University of Hongik.

With the opening of the seventh Apple Store in Hongdae, Apple now has 100 retail stores in the Asia-Pacific region. The opening of this shop was celebrated with great fanfare through the event Today at Apple and Pop-Up Studio featuring hip-hop artists from the country.

The opening of the Apple Store was enthusiastically welcomed by local residents. Many people are queuing up and waiting until the retail shop opens for the first time. The visitors also exploded so that Apple deployed 100 members from the Apple Store team.

The shop, which opened quite lively, received a good welcome from Senior Vice President of Retail Apple Deirdre O'Brien. He said that the Apple Store in Hongdae would bring something new.

"Combining Apple's latest technology with the creative spirit of the local community, this new store will build on the extraordinary relationship we have with our customers in Korea," O'Brien said in an official statement.

Through this Store, O'Brien and members of Apple's Retail will aggressively promote the iPhone 15 lineup. They will also sell the latest products from Apple such as Macs with M3 chips, Apple Watch, and the Special Year's Lunar New Year AirPods Pro.

To increase the promotion of the Apple Store in Hongdae, the company will hold Today at Apple for three months, from January to March. Visitors can try Macs and iPads for free while learning new features from Apple devices.
