Google Launches Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3 For Pixel Devices

JAKARTA Google has launched Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3 specifically for all Pixel devices. This Google-made Operations System (OS) will be available on regular Pixel phones, Pixel Fold, and Pixel tablets.

In this Beta version update, Google changed several things like different phonets and added status icons for the alarm and Don't Disturb (DND) feature on the lock screen display. This icon will appear in the row of weather icons.

Before this update was added to the Beta version, the DND icon and alarm only appeared in bar status and did not appear when the Always On Display (AOD) feature was active. Now, 9to5google finds that both icons will appear in bar and lock screen status.

In addition to making minor changes, Google fixes a lot of problems through this Beta 3 QPR2. This latest version will fix problems that cause Bluetooth connections to cut off, break down devices when restarted, and devices that reboot during alert mode.

The update also fixes a failed mobile Wallpaperanimation problem, a failed Google Assistant activation, malfunctioning multi-finger movement, higher CPU usage during video playback, and excessive power consumption during calls.

QPR2 Beta was first launched in November. After its launch, Google released its version in stages, starting from QPR2 Beta 1 in November, QPR2 Beta 2 in December, and now QPR2 Beta 3 in January.

Although QPR Beta is a trial version before the official launch, this experimental version was not made specifically for developers. Google once said that this version is suitable for general use.

This beta version update will be released in stages. Devices that will receive this new version are Pixel 5series, Pixel 6series, Pixel 7series, Pixel 8series, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, and Emulator Android.
