JAKARTA - Brave Search is testing to announce that it has added a newly created CodeLLM to its search engine, to provide search results related to programming queries.

Free and integrated CodeLLM in Brave will offer programers the option to include AI code snippets into search results, with a step-by-step explanation and a source quote for reference and validation.

CodeLLM is currently available to all Brave Search users, on desktop and mobile. To access it, go to Brave Search and try to enter your favorite programming query.

"We are excited to release CodeLLM on Brave Search, and are considering some improvements and additions to its capabilities," the search company wrote in its blog, quoted Thursday, January 11.

"Above the search results, if the answer is possible, there will be widgets to trigger CodeLLM responses," the company added further.

Not to forget, Brave also mentioned that CodeLLM builds on Mixtral, a large language model that can use text commands to generate codes, and is equipped with Brave's unique ability as a search engine.

Today's announcement comes two months after Brave released its AI-powered assistant, Leo, to all desktop users.
