NASA Donates IDR 2.7 Billion For Thirteen Concepts In NIAC Program

JAKARTA The United States (NASA) Aeronautics and Space Agency finally selected thirteen concepts from companies and institutions for the NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) program.

All selected programs will get a total of 175 thousand US dollars or around Rp. 2.7 billion. Through the handover of this grant, NASA will support the pioneering ideas related to future space missions.

NASA's bold mission in the interest of mankind all started with just an idea, and NIAC is responsible for inspiring a lot of these ideas, NASA Association Administrator Jim Free said in an official statement.

Of the thirteen concepts that NASA chose, some of them made concepts about the return of samples from Venus, flights on Mars, to spacecraft in interstellar space. The following is a series of concepts that have been successfully selected in the NIAC program.

That's thirteen concepts that the NIAC grant recipients for the first phase in 2024. All concepts submitted to NASA could be developed by the space agency to support exploration progress in space.
