JAKARTA Snapchat announced that users of their paid service, Snapchat Plus, have reached seven million users. They shared this information on Tuesday, December 12.
As a form of celebration of this new achievement, Snapchat said that it has released a variety of new features with generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) support. Now, the AI features on the platform are becoming more diverse.
The new feature that Snapchat introduces is the ability to create images with simple commands. Once a generating AI feature produces the desired image, users can share it with other users.
In just a few words, use AI to create and send Snap containing anything you know will make your friend's day fun, even when the perfect view is no longer visible," Snapchat wrote in an official release.
Interestingly, users can still edit the resulting images before sharing them with friends. Users can also change image results that are too closed up with the EXtend feature in the crop icon.

Another feature that Snapchat Plus users can feel is Dreams, selfie's ability with generative AI. This feature has been around since August, but Snapchat is improving its ability to be used with friends.
Each Snapchat Plus subscriber can use Dreams eight times a month. The results of this selfie powered AI can also be shared with friends or Stories for other Snapchat Plus users to see.
Although these two features have already been launched, some user accounts may not have received their updates. This feature will be released globally, but the launch will be carried out in stages.
