JAKARTA - The world's largest crypto exchange, Binance, started its new leadership after the change of CEO from Changpeng Zhao to Richard Teng. Binance recently held a giveaway campaign aka sharing Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for its users. Binance will provide 1 Bitcoin (BTC) to its platform users.

This Giveaway is part of Binance's efforts to increase Web3 Wallet adoption, a newly launched non-custodian crypto wallet through the Binance app. The Web3 Wallet allows users to save, send, receive, and exchange various blockchain cross tokens, as well as access decentralized applications (dApps).

Terms For Participating In Binance Giveaway

To participate in this giveaway, the conditions are quite easy. Users only need to swap at least one token or exchange token on the Web3 Wallet between December 6, 2023 and January 5, 2024. Swap is the process of exchanging one token for another using smart contracts.

Participants who took part in this campaign had the opportunity to receive prizes ranging from 1 Shiba Inu (SHIB) worth IDR 155 to 1 Bitcoin worth IDR 680 million. The total prize value provided by Binance reached 500,000. or around IDR 7 billion. Binance did not reveal whether participants could get more than one token as a reward for this campaign.

The Web3 Wallet supports a number of tokens at its launch, including SHIB, Dogecoin (DOGE), Tether (USDT), and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). NFT is a unique token that represents digital assets, such as art, music, games, and collectibles. The Wallet Web3 is also integrated with Binance Bridge and other providers, which facilitates a better price cross-blockchain token swap.

Richard Teng, the new CEO of Binance, said that this giveaway is one way to appreciate the Binance community that has supported this platform. Teng also said that Web3 Wallet is an innovative product that can help users explore the Web3.0 world, which is a decentralized internet blockchain-driven internet.

This Giveaway is one of Binance's latest efforts in developing its ecosystem in the crypto world. Previously, Binance had announced plans to launch the Binance NFT Marketplace, a platform for buying, selling, and creating NFTs. Binance has also collaborated with various Web3 partners, such as Maverick Protocol, Gala Games, and the Actala Network.
