Instagram Users Complain About Lost Audio Problems In Old Videos

JAKARTA Since its launch in 2010, Instagram has been the right platform to store valuable moments. Users can capture events in photo and video format.

All photos and videos shared will be safely saved on the user's account and will never be lost unless deleted. However, Instagram has recently reportedly had problems with old posts.

The Verge reports that a number of videos uploaded on Instagram lost audio for no apparent reason. This normally disabled video can be seen in uploads before 2014.

Audio from old videos looks out of service across devices, from desktop, iOS, to Android. The Verge ensures that this audio damage is not due to copyright issues, but because of Instagram itself.

Complaints due to missing audio are widely discussed on the Reddit platform. Some users complain that their old video doesn't make any sound, even though the video they want to see is a valuable video.

There are users who say that they can't hear the voice of their dead dog. In addition, there are also users who say that they want to re-check the video with their friend who died, but the voice doesn't appear.

Of the many complaints that appear on the Reddit platform, it can be concluded that this audio problem has occurred since the beginning of the year. However, complaints regarding Instagram audio have mostly appeared around May and June.

If this does happen to all old videos, Instagram may deliberately want to delete the voices of the videos or there may be problems with the bug. However, all of this is still a suspicion because Instagram has not provided an official explanation.
