Dell Technologies Presents Cloud Hybrid Solutions For Microsoft Azure

JAKARTA - Dell Technologies announced the availability of the APEX Cloud Platform for Microsoft, a ready-to-use system to enhance Microsoft Azure's hybrid cloud experience to data centers and edges.

Dell Technologies and Microsoft have a long history of hybrid cloud collaboration and innovation to help customers implement apps and data wherever they need them.

"Dell APEX Cloud Platform for Microsoft Azure is the latest innovation of our long-term collaboration," said Karolis Macionis, regional director, APEX, Dell Technologies, Asia Pacific and Japan in a statement received, quoted Thursday, September 28.

Macionist also said that this new platform will make it easier for organizations in the APJ region to simplify their Azure management, accelerate app delivery, and offer flexibility to run their workload in the cloud, edge, and data center.

Furthermore, the company said that the Dell APEX Cloud Platforms is a new generation of infrastructure that presents consistent operational activities and much more controlled workload placement with the presence of more on-premise cloud ecosystem options.

"These platforms will provide greater sustainable flexibility and investment protection, which includes management and orchestration of automated infrastructure, software-based storage, and new generation computing," said Erwin Yusran, Data Center Solutions Lead, Dell Technologies, Indonesia.

According to Douglas Phillips, Corporate Vice President, Azure Edge + Platform, the launch of the Dell APEX Cloud Platform is because many of their customers are asking to present Azure wherever they need it in the real world, either in factories, retail stores, fast food restaurants, or their various other locations.

This new solution presents an experience without a hitch for our customers from cloud to edge, wherever their data is, so they can cut the time it takes to manage infrastructure and focus more on transforming their business," Phillips concluded.
