JAKARTA - Contrary to the Google Podcast that will be deleted in 2024, Apple has actually announced an improvement in the experience for its Apple Podcasts app.

With the iOS 17 software update, the service will now be updated with full-screen artwork, simplified queues, episode art, interactive widgets, search filters with more detailed results, StandBy, and the ability to connect their subscriptions to some of their favorite apps.

In addition, Apple Music, Apple News+, Calm and Lingokids subscribers will gain access to more than 60 original podcasts, including more than 2,500 episodes rich in music from Apple Music Radio.

"Apple Music is home to hundreds of original shows featuring world top artists and taste makers, and our listeners love it," Rachel Newman, Apple Music's head of global editorials, said in an announcement on Apple's official website.

Starting next month, listeners can connect their subscriptions to Bloomberg, Curio, L' chancequipe, Mamamia, Sleep Cycle, The Economist, The Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, WELT News, and Zen with Apple Podcasts.

Customers can also listen to all the content on their favorite Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, HomePod, CarPlay, and Apple Watch with AirPods.
