Apple Officially Launches IPhone 15 Pro And 15 Pro Max With Titanium Materials And Innovative Features

Apple has just announced their latest iPhone line: iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. Both are made of titanium, having Action Button. Apple also promises that the product is the strongest smartphone they've ever made so far.

The iPhone 15 Pro starts at 999 US dollars (IDR 15.3 million) with 128GB of storage capacity, while Pro Max sells from 1,199 US dollars (IDR 18.4 million) with a storage capacity of 256GB. Both devices will be available for initial bookings on Friday 15 September and will be sold starting 22 September.

The iPhone 15 Pro has a 6.1-inch screen, while Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen - the same as the new iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. Both are powered by the A17 Pro chip, which Apple says has the fastest performance among all smartphones and can even challenge some high-end PCs.

Along with the redesigned GPU, Apple seems to think that this device can improve the types of games that can be played on your phone.

These two phones have a USB-C port at the bottom, not an old Lightning port. However, in the case of the iPhone 15 Pro, this port can be used for more than just charging: Apple claims that the iPhone 15 Pro is the first phone with a 10Gbps transfer speed, which will facilitate the delivery of any large photos, videos, or files from your phone.

All of these forces are embedded in a stronger shell, which Apple promises as one of the strongest materials you can find on mobile phones in the industry. But this change may not be too flashy, but it remains a major change. This new device comes in white, black, blue, and "natural."

The Action button, which replaces the ringer switch on the left side of the iPhone Pro, is a new button that can be adjusted for shortcuts, unlocks the accessibility feature, opens the camera, turns on the flashlight, and so on. By default, this button is still a ring switch - but you'll want to use it to do more.

iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max have a Super Retina XDR screen with ProMotion and support both the screen is always active and the new StandBy mode on iOS 17.

Greg Joswiak, Apple's head of marketing, promises that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max have the best cameras Apple has ever had - on par with seven different lenses. This includes a 48-megapixel upgraded camera that it says can produce better low-luminosity photos, reduce less good lensing effects, and use Apple's artificial intelligence systems to take full-resolution HEIF photos.

You can now change your default lens and take photos with some focal length - 24mm, 28mm, and 35mm - in the main camera. You can also get up to 5x optical zoom, which is the most Apple has ever offered, up to 120mm focal length.

For videos, you can take a 4K60 ProRes video on this device or even take a video directly to an external drive via a USB-C port (provided you have the right cable). The iPhone 15 Pro can also record "spatial" videos, the type of 3D content we've seen since Vision Pro - although this feature will come further this year. It is clear that Apple considers the iPhone 15 Pro as a consumer device, but also as a true professional tool for creators and filmmakers around the world.

Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced this new device at Apple Park's Wonderlust event, Cupertino, California, although rumors have been circulating since a few months ago. In terms of how you will use your iPhone, some of the biggest changes this year will happen in iOS 17: StandBy mode can only change the way you use your phone when you turn off, interactive widgets can redesign multiple homepages, and features like Live Voicemail and Contact Poster might make you actually make phone calls over time.

Apple has mostly followed the same framework as the launch of the iPhone in recent years: the basic model gained features from Pro last year - such as Dynamic Island and some camera technology, even the A16 Bionic chip - and Pro is a guinea pig for Apple's big new idea.

This year, although Apple may not be talking much about the USB-C itself, this new port seems to be giving Apple new ideas about how you can retrieve data on Pro phones and then use them elsewhere. Joswiak calls this new Pro line the "best and most Pro iPhone ever,". Although model 15 improves the everyday iPhone usage experience, the new iPhone Pro seems to be heading to another entirely new place.
