In an announcement shared by Instagram head Adam Mosseri via his broadcast channel on Instagram, the web version of Threads will be launching soon.

“We're excited to launch Threads on the web over the next few days,” he wrote on his broadcast channel on Tuesday, August 22.

Beyond that, Mosseri noted that with the new web version of Threads experience, you can post, view your feed, and also interact with other Threads users.

"We know you've been waiting, we're working hard to bring everything you love from mobile to the web."

On the other hand, Meta also announced the launch of Seamless M4T, a new multimodal AI model that enables people who speak multiple languages ​​to communicate more effectively.

Based on what Zuck shared, this M4T is capable of doing speech-to-text translation, text-to-speech, speech-to-speech, text-to-text translation, and speech recognition in up to 100 languages.

Not to forget, Zuck also revealed that this AI-powered translation tool is planned to be integrated into his social media, namely Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, to the latest Threads.

"Over time, we will integrate these AI advances in translation and transcription into Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Threads," concluded the Meta boss.
