JAKARTA - Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he was ready to fight X owner Elon Musk, but until now there has been no date set from the two billionaires.
"I love this sport and I'm ready to fight since Elon's day challenges me. If he ever agreed to the actual date, you'd hear it from me. Until then, please assume whatever he says has not been agreed," Zuckerberg said in his post on Threads.
Uploaded further, Zuckerberg admitted that he did not hold his breath to wait for this match and stated that he wanted to do so not as the two owners of the social media who fought, but like the athletes who were competing.
"I'm not holding my breath for Elon, but I'll share the details of my next fight when I'm ready," Zuckerberg said.
When I compete, I want to do it in a way that highlights elite athletes at the top of the game. You do it in collaboration with professional organizations like UFC or ONE to do this well and make great cards," he continued.
Zuckerberg also shared photos from training sessions in his own backyard. Shows how serious he is against Musk.
While he was training, Musk showed off that he had already set a location to compete with Zuckerberg.
"Everything in the camera frame will become an ancient Rome, so nothing is modern at all. I spoke with the Italian Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture. They have agreed to an epic location," said Musk who also owns Tesla and SpaceX.

Responding to Musk's statement, Italian Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano confirmed his planning was not as far as Musk suggested, nor would any event actually be held in Rome.
He only spoke with Musk about holding a major charity event and inspiring history. However, Sangiuliano did not provide further details when it would be held, as quoted by Reuters and The Verge, Saturday, August 12.
"That will not happen in Rome. Above all, a large amount, millions of euros, is expected to be donated to two Italian child hospitals that are important to strengthen scientific facilities and research to combat children's illness," said Sangiuliano.
"This will also be an opportunity to promote the history and heritage of our archeology, art and culture globally," he added.
As previously reported, Musk challenged Zuckerberg on June 20 who said he was ready for home games with his business rival.
It is known, Zuckerberg is quite proficient in jiuitsu. A day later, he posted a picture of the game he won on Instagram and asked Musk to send the location of the game.
