JAKARTA - Elon Musk failed his own plan to embed dark mode or permanent dark mode on Twitter's comparison platform, X.

Previously, the billionaire who is also the owner of SpaceX said he would only present it to X in the future.

"This platform will soon only have dark mode. Better in all respects," Musk tweeted in response to user questions, whether the verification check mark will look good in dark mode.

But many users protest this, with some stating that the light text on black can be more difficult to read.

Not a few of them also asked Musk to maintain the bright mode option despite turning to dark mode as the default for X's new design identity. And Musk agreed.
