Dell Technologies Introduces APEX Platform for Expansion of Cloud Operational Environments

JAKARTA - Dell Technologies has introduced a number of new Dell APEX offerings spanning multiple cloud platforms, public cloud storage software, devices and client computing. One of the newest products is called Dell APEX Cloud Platform.

“Our customers are continuously looking for simpler technology experiences to easily manage and access their assets and applications, with predictable costs and greater flexibility. That's where Dell APEX comes in," said Chuck Whitten, co-chief operating officer, Dell Technologies in a statement.

Dell APEX Cloud Platform is a turnkey systems portfolio that fully integrates Dell's infrastructure, software, and cloud operation stack to deliver consistent multicloud operations by extending cloud operating models to edge environments.

The Dell APEX expansion also includes the first Microsoft and Red Hat solutions to offer, the Dell APEX Cloud Platform solution designed to ease the expansion of public cloud operational environments.

Several cloud platforms which are the result of collaboration between Microsoft, Red Hat, and VMware with Dell Technologies are:

Dell APEX Cloud Platform for Microsoft Azure, to enhance the hybrid Azure experience with full stack software integration and automated lifecycle management through Microsoft's built-in management tools and extensive technical collaboration between Dell and Microsoft.

Dell APEX Cloud Platform for Red Hat OpenShift simplifies application development and management, wherever applications are developed and deployed. This solution is the result of deep engineering collaboration between Dell and Red Hat, using enterprise Kubernetes and supported by the world's leading enterprise Linux platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Dell APEX Cloud Platform for VMware, giving customers the flexibility to deploy vSphere into a fully integrated system with software-based Dell storage. This solution combines Dell APEX Private Cloud and Dell APEX Hybrid Cloud into the broader Dell APEX portfolio to give VMware customers more choice in their multicloud journey.
