JAKARTA - Two days ago, Meta announced that WhatsApp Business, its application specifically designed for small businesses, has more than 200 million monthly active users.

Mark Zuckerberg's CEO also announced on his broadcast channel on Instagram that WhatsApp Business users will be able to create a "click on WhatsApp" ad without a Facebook account.

The company notes that sellers can create, buy and publish ads for Facebook and Instagram directly from within the app.

"Not long after, 200 million + users of the WhatsApp Business app will be able to create Facebook and Instagram ads to find and connect with new customers, without requiring a Facebook account," Zuckerberg said in his announcement, quoted Thursday, June 29.

Not only that, Meta will also add another paid feature for WhatsApp Business, which allows traders to automate the process of sending personalized messages to their customers.

"We also announced a new paid messaging feature so that small businesses can reach customers more efficiently," he added further.

Based on the screenshots shared, it shows that with this new feature, businesses will be able to send different messages to different customer lists.
