Developers Will Stop Online Features For Forza Horizon 1 And 2 In August

JAKARTA - Pengembang Turn 10 Studios telah mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan menutup layanan online untuk dua gimnya, yaitu Forza Horizon 1 dan Forza Horizon 2 pada 22 Agustus 2023 mendatang.

In an announcement shared on its official website, the closure of this online service is intended so that the studio can pour its entire focus on the latest games in the future.

"While the experience of single players in both games will still be played, any online function such as matchmaking, ranking boards, and browsing as well as downloading User-made Content (UGC) online including patterns, vinyl, tuning, and photos will not be available starting August 22, 2023," the studio wrote.

Furthermore, the closure of this online feature will also affect the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of Forza Horizon 2, as well as the stand-alone Forza Horizon 2 Presenting Fast & Furious, at the same time.

However, the developer also emphasized that the feature termination feature online on Forza Horizon 1 and two will not affect the online features for Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Horizon 4, and can still work as usual.

"Players who already have Forza Horizon 1 and or Forza Horizon 2 can continue to download and access singles players from this game even after the online service closes on August 22, 2023," he concluded.
