JAKARTA - Amazon and Disney announced that "Hey Disney!", a new voice assistant created based on Alexa technology and referred to as 'Disney Magical Companion' is officially available for purchase for customers in the United States (US).
Disney Magical Companion launched as an annual subscription that will be automatically extended on the Alexa Skills Store for use on home-backed Echo devices.
Not only that, the company revealed that voice assistant "Hey Disney!" was also included as part of Amazon Kids+'s subscription.

In its announcement, the company mentioned that "Hey Disney!" marks the first time Alexa Custom Assistant (ACA) has been available on Echo devices supported for customers at home.
Interestingly, the new voice assistant brings together a series of content featuring more than 20 characters across Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and other favorite franchises.
"Disney Magical Companion introduces a new way to liven up a wide Disney story for fans of all ages at home, giving magical responses to daily things such as weather, time regulators, and alarms, as well as entertainment such as Disney trivia, storytelling, interactive adventures with characters, and others," Amazon wrote on its official website.
To buy and prepare Hey Disney!, you just need to say, 'Alexa, introduce me to Hey Disney.'
Furthermore, once purchases are made and experience is enabled, they can say "Hey Disney, start the magic" for an introduction to how Disney Magical Companion and Alexa work.
