The Murder Of A Woman Under The Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road Is Suspected Of Being Carried Out Elsewhere

JAKARTA - The murder of a woman whose body was found in a sack under the Cibitung-Cilincing (Cibibi) Toll Road, North Jakarta, Saturday, May 27, was allegedly carried out elsewhere. North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Gidion Arif Setyawan, stated that the murder victim experienced signs of violence and was found in a pungent condition by two witnesses.

Two witnesses, namely HW (28) and AA (22), who live around the Cilincing area, North Jakarta, became the first witnesses to find the body of the murder victim. The police have asked for information from the two witnesses regarding the discovery.

According to witnesses, on Saturday at around 13.00 WIB, while they were fishing in the East Flood Canal (KBT), a scavenger informed them of the presence of rotten sacks that looked like human hair in them.

Then, the witnesses went to the location mentioned by the scavenger and actually found the sack. Inside the sack there is a corpse wrapped in jumbo-sized plastic and has a pungent smell and is surrounded by flies.

At 17.00 WIB, the Head of the North Jakarta Metro Police and a team from the Metro Jaya Police Inafis and the Metro Jaya Police Dokkes arrived at the location. At 17.30 WIB, officers conducted an initial crime scene (TKP) led by the Head of Dokkes Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol dr. Hery Wijatmoko, and it was confirmed that the victim was a woman.

The body was then taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an autopsy at around 17.47 WIB to reveal further about this case. Police are still investigating further to find the perpetrator and reveal the motive behind this murder.
