E3 Cancels Held, Game Lover Welcomes Nintendo At Gamescom 2023

JAKARTA - After the officially cancellation of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year, all game lovers are now focused on individual exhibitions and publisher events such as the Summer Game Fest.

Not only that, Gamescom, a trade show for video games held annually at Koelnmesse in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany will be held again this year, to be precise on August 23-27.

However, the complete list of participants who will participate in the exhibition has not been detailed, however, the organizers have confirmed that Nintendo will certainly attend the event.

Furthermore, Gamescom organizers will again announce more participants who will attend in the coming weeks, so let's wait for more information.

Citing GamingBolt, last year's Gamescom exhibition was attended by several of the largest publishers such as Xbox, Bandai Namco, and Ubisoft. But unfortunately, PlayStation missed last year's event. However, there is nothing wrong with hoping that PlayStation will be present this year.

Gamescom Opening Night Live will be held on August 22. This event will be hosted by Geoff Keighley. Don't know for sure what the duration is, but reflecting on the previous year, last year's showcase lasted two hours and featured more than 30 matches.

For information, this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was canceled because several well-known brands such as Sony, Ubisoft, Nintendo, and Microsoft's Xbox decided not to attend.
