Heardle, Wordle's inspired music guessing game will soon be closed by the owner, Spotify. The game, acquired by the company in July 2022.

"After careful consideration, we have made a difficult decision to say goodbye to Heardle as we focus our efforts on other features for the discovery of music," said a Spotify spokesperson.

Heardle is one of many games that successfully launched after the Wordle explosion. To play, users listen to the intro of a song and have six attempts to guess the artist and the title that Heardle plays.
