JAKARTA - The eToro trading and investment platform announced on Thursday April 13 that it had partnered with Twitter led by Elon Musk to allow users to access crypto prices, stocks, and other instruments in real-time and trade on the instrument.

Trading data will be available through the Cashtags Twitter feature, which was launched in 2012 and allows users to interact with content around assets by inserting a dollar mark in front of the ticker.

Musk said last December that Cashtags with data from TradingView was "one of the product improvements to financial Twitter". Twitter users previously could only view real-time trading data from TradingView graphics platforms, but only on a few assets such as the S&P 500 index and shares of several companies like Tesla.

Now, they can click on the eToro platform to view information about the asset, with additional options for investing.

Since acquiring Twitter in late October, Musk has brought a series of changes to this microblogging website, including rolling out subscription plans for verified users and breaking mass employment.
