Microsoft Launches New Feature That Allows Players To Set Console Sleep Time

JAKARTA - Microsoft announced its April update to Xbox, which is scheduled to launch this week, offering an updated Xbox search experience and customizable active clock power settings.

Refreshed Xbox Search Experience

This update includes a new, slimmer look, gallery-style results, a filter category that can be navigated with RB/LB, an option to "look on YouTube" in the Film & TV tab, and much more.

To open the search experience, tap the search button at the top of the dashboard, find the bigger glass icon inside the guide, or press Y in your controller anywhere within the UI console.

Settings of customizable clock power for Xbox consoles

With this update, later you can adjust the power settings at any time by going to Settings > General > Power Options. If you select Turn Off (energy saving), this will help you save power and enable carbon awareness updates on your Xbox.

With the April Xbox Update, if you select the Sleep Power option on Xbox, you can configure your console's active clock, whose default is "always active" unless you change it.

This update isn't the end, but Microsoft says it's looking forward to future updates and all the new features that's coming to Xbox.

"We're excited to hear from the community whether you have suggestions for a new feature to add, or you want to provide feedback on existing features that need some improvement," the company said in its announcement.
